The complex consists of four single-family villas located in the Terrarossa area of the Municipality of Arenzano.

All volumes are developed on a single floor, maintaining the formal unity of the complex through the realization of large glass windows (or glazing), wide semi-circular terraces, and a double-pitched roof.

The residential floor of each dwelling is connected via the stairwell to the lower level, which is completely underground on three sides and houses the garage, cellar (or storage room), and technical rooms. The real estate units feature a non-habitable attic with semi-circular terraces.

Although the plan geometry heavily characterizes the volumetric design, an effort was made to give the roofs a traditional double-pitched (or gabled) shape, using French-style clay tiles as the covering material for their high durability and aesthetic value.

The dwellings are all rated Energy Class A+, having utilized External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS) (or external cladding/insulation systems) along with photovoltaic and solar panels.

For the exterior finishes of the dwellings (or homes), colors similar to those already present in the small adjacent town were chosen.

The open space surrounding the dwellings is landscaped as a garden and appropriately graded to connect with the existing ground elevations, by means of slopes (or embankments) or low retaining walls clad in stone.

Particular care was taken in the garden landscaping to safeguard the olive trees already present in the area, which are typical of the region.

The interiors of the homes were finished using high-quality (or fine) and designer materials.

The studio assisted the client from the definitive design phase of the properties—covering architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design—up to the handover of the completed works, helping with the selection of internal and external finishes and furnishings.
